OWWA Scholarship 2025 to 2026 Application
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is now officially open and accepting applications for its Scholarship Programs for the Academic Year 2025-2026. This includes the Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP) and the OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP).

What is OWWA Scholarship Program?
The OWWA Scholarship is an Educational Grant Program provided by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) for the Dependents of active Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). OWWA EDSP – Education for Development Scholarship Program
The EDSP Program is a Scholarship Grant available to the Qualified Dependents of Active OWWA Members who are planning to enroll in a 4 to 5 years Baccalaureate Program in any College or University in the Philippines.
Types of EDSP Scholarship:
- EDSP 1 – For Incoming 1st Year College Students
- EDSP 2 – For 2nd to 5th Year College Students
Benefits of EDSP Scholarship:

Qualifications for EDSP:

- For 2nd to 5th Year: Must be 30 years old or below
- Be in Good Health and of Good Moral Character
- For Grade 12: Must have GWA of 80% or above
- For College Students: Must have GWA of 85% or B Grade
- Must Enroll in any Philippine-based College or University
OWWA ODSP – OFW Dependent Scholarship Program
The ODSP Scholarship is given to the Qualified Dependents of active OWWA Members who are earning Monthly Salary of $1000 USD or below. This Program is for those who are enrolled or planning to enroll in any 4 to 5 years Baccalaureate or Associate Program in any Philippines College or University.
Benefits of ODSP Scholarship:
- Financial Grant of ₱20,000 per Year or ₱10,000 per Semester
- Covers Tuition and Academic-related Expenses
Qualifications for ODSP:
To apply for ODSP Scholarship, Applicant must:
- Be Single
- Be a Child or Sibling of an Active OWWA Member
- For 1st Year Students: Must be 21 years old or below
- For 2nd to 5th Year: Must be 30 years old or below
- Must be Enrolled in any College or University in the Philippines
- Must have a Passing GWA of 80% or above with No Failing Grades
- OFW Parent’s Monthly Income must not exceed $1000 USD
Required Documents to Apply
Applicants must Prepare and Submit the following Documents:
- Valid OFW Passport or any Government-issued ID
- School ID or Valid ID of the Applicant
- PSA or Baptismal Birth Certificate
- Proof of Income (OEC, Payslip, Employment Certificate, etc.)
- Form 137 / 138 or Transcript of Records (TOR)
- Two (2) pcs 2×2 ID Photos with White Background and Name Tag
